Snoop Dogg, Diddy and More Celebrate Floyd Mayweather’s Historic Victory Over Conor McGregor

Floyd Mayweather Jr. came out of retirement to fight MMA superstar Conor McGregor and he will go back into retirement as an undefeated champion. The all-time boxing great defeated McGregor by TKO in the 10th round in Las Vegas on Saturday night (Aug. 26).

With this victory, Mayweather will retire with a historic 50-0 record. After the fight, the 40-year-old boxer told ESPN that he’s done with boxing. “This was my last fight tonight. For sure,” he said. “Tonight was my last fight. Tonight I chose the right dance partner to dance with. Conor you are a hell of a champion.”
The fans and the two fighters certainly got their money’s worth. Mayweather is expected to take home $200 million when it’s all said and done, while McGregor was guaranteed $30 million and will likely earn more than $100 million for a fight that was impressive from both corners.
After the fight, the hip-hop community celebrated Floyd Mayweather’s historic victory. Hip-hoppers like Diddy, Questlove, Snoop Dogg, Talib Kweli, Krayzie Bone and others went on social media to congratulate Mayweather on his historic win.
