Rapper 50 Cent Announces Broadcast Date for His New BET Show ’50 Central’

 50 Cent
Although 50 Cent is busy with Power, he has another exciting show that will premiere on BET next month. The rapper-entertainer went on his Instagram page to announce the broadcast date of his new variety series called 50 Central.
In the photo above, Fif is sitting behind the wheel of his Rolls Royce Phantom with the top down. The caption reads, “Catch my New Show 50Central on BET 9/28 we Lit. I’m taking over BET I’m getting rid of a few shows, and bringing some heat.”

That last line — “I’m getting rid of a few show, and bringing some heat” — might be a slight dig at Gabrielle Union whose series Being Mary Jane also airs on BET. The actress elegantly clapped back at 50 after he threw some shade on her program, which he claims no one is watching.
“I don’t compete with other artists, only celebrate,” Union said. “Enough space for all of us to succeed. Cheers to Power and cheers to other creative folks uplifting each other. ALL our programming could use more shine, so I opt to [uplift]. I know that celebrating others in no way dims my shine. Keep shining @50cent.”
There’s no word on who will appear on 50 Cent’s new show in September. In a BET promo video, the G-Unit leader promises edgy comedy and entertainment that we haven’t seen on late-night programming. “Expect the unexpected,” he said. “It’s new wave, new energy.”
