News - Rapper Drake Reportedly Handed Over $60,000 To French Montana Over NBA Finals Bet

French Montana and Drake reportedly took part in NBA Finals bet
.
In a clip from French Montana's Snapchat, which was obtained by Akademiks TV, the rapper can be seen thanking Drake for giving him "60 bands." He added that Drake had to hand over the money because he didn't believe in LeBron James.
"Shout out to my brother, Drizzy Drake for that 60 bands. Cause you ain't believe in LeBron," French Montana says in the video.
If a bet was in fact made, Drake joins a long list of rappers who have had to give up serious amounts of cash over sporting bets.
In February of this year, rap trio Migos reportedly lost $75,000 after putting their money on the Carolina Panthers in the Super Bowl. And in 2012, Birdman tweeted about his willingness to bet $5 million on the New England Patriots for Super Bowl XLVI.
Weeks ago, another Snapchat video featuring French Montana went viral. The video features French previewing a few seconds of a collaboration with Drake.
On the song, Drake can be heard rapping "pump, pump it up," which may serve as a reference to Joe Budden's "Pump It Up" record. Prior to the release of the preview, Budden offered a stern critique of Drake's VIEWS album on his podcast.
